I will be discussing the development of uses of Artificial Intelligence within the Industry and workplace. In today’s society, there is not a single workplace environment that doesn’t rely on the use of any sort of electrical equipment that has some sort of basic functioning Artificial Intelligence running on it.
In any financial sector there are three main categories that are used in the industry; Capital, Land and Labour. We have seen a drastic change in the economy since the use of advanced Capital and Research and Development of Capital has increased. We can see in primary sectors in the industry, there has especially been an increase over the last decade for Robotics and advanced machinery which cuts down the costs of the company. The main reasons for replacing humans with machinery are the more efficient and higher quality products being produced. For example, a human is required to take a break every couple of hours to refocus and not loose quality control over the products produced. However, this is not the case with machines as they don’t need breaks and don’t lose quality and control over the result of the product the longer, they are used. In the workplace, many firms are dependant on AI throughout their companies. From basic necessities like coffee machines to more advanced uses like programming a specific algorithm to complete a specific task required.
